This counter-height 23'' dining table is the ideal center for meals and drinks in space-conscious homes and apartments. We love that its compact footprint works well in smaller spaces while still delivering bold style and solid function.

I ordered two of these tables for the hi-fi stereo components in my music studio. Both tables took about 45 minutes to assemble, but these days I am slow and meticulous about putting furniture together. I've bought a lot of "put together" furniture from Wayfair over the years. In order to make things go a bit faster and save my fingers and hands, a few years back I invested in a hex bit set from one of the big box home improvement stores. Once everything is lined up and the screws/bolts are started and all the parts are loosely in place, I tighten them up with my drill driver with the torque setting on a low setting like 2 or 3. The tables look okay, although the seem to have a bit of an industrial quality to them. They are functional, but not very pretty. They work for me and you can see in the photos I've included. The reason I only gave them 4 out of 5 stars is the packaging. Everything seems to fall out as you pull out the large pieces. I removed a star because this set was hard to put together with just one person even though I managed to do it over the course of a few days. TIP Make sure you connect the bars to frames 6 and 7 in the correct orientation or it won’t connect to the 8 frame correctly so don’t tighten the screws fully until you make sure thats correct, you can turn the bars to correct it if the screws are not tightened prematurely. The table is very sturdy and looks good. There is a seam in the center but I bought a short runner to cover it. Really happy with the product, seats seem sturdy also.
