I called the customer service after I found the damage. The agent ordered a replacement part for me right away. I am happy with the resolution. The table and chairs are pretty good. I like them in the space. However Wayfair forgot half of the chairs and then sent me boxes of chairs to assemble even though I paid for white glove delivery in the original order. Customer service said we didn’t order full service for replacement parts (we ordered it on the original order) and refused any solution. The issue is the table arrived damaged, 2 chairs were damaged and one chair back had 2 legs not even the same height so it wobbles. When I contacted customer to send replacement parts I was told the would send a whole new table and chairs if I packaged up the damaged one and sent it back. I explained that the box has been recycled and there is no box big enough to pack it back up. Secondly, the whole weighed about 150lbs. There was no way I would be able to lift that to take it somewhere to be shipped back. So, it makes sense to me that I now am able to use 2 out of 4 chairs and the table has some damage a 50% refund should have been offered...I mean I can only use 50% of the set. Nope they only offered 30% refund. I find it hard to believe this company can't afford the 20% difference or to just send replacement parts which would have been the best customer service step to take.. Oshannah. Oregon City, OR. I built the chairs myself which took about 1.5 hours for all four. My husband built the table which took him about an hour. All the pieces are very sturdy and good quality. Around year five we added some extra screws to the table base, but this was probably only needed due to disassembling and reassembling the table multiple times. This is a really beautiful and sturdy dining set! I love the light maple wood top and seats (it is a little more yellow than it is white maple). And the cream legs and chair backs is the perfect match for the table! It fits perfectly with my farmhouse decor. It was somewhat easy to put together, however there are a few pre drilled holes that are hard to get the bolts into, and the chair seats do not have any pre-drilled holes for the screws, so make sure you have an electric screwdriver!.
