It's perfect for the purpose we needed it: To hold a medium-sized TV but under a window. We didn't want to totally block the window so the height is just right. The wide length makes it easy to shift away from the window if necessary or to be seen from a specific chair in the room. It's very pretty, and solid. We put wicker baskets in the open slots below to hide stuff. The electric cords are easy with the open back. As would be components. I found it funny (not haha. Not at all what I had expected it to be. The screws with the plastic have to be hammered in, not screwed in place. The wood is very soft so it scratches and chips very easily. I was hoping to is this as a bookshelf for my cookbooks but it seems so cheap and chinsy that I'm not confident in it. Overall not a great experience with the installation and the product quality..
