I do love these chairs! I assembled them by myself. I am 74 years old and it was easy Peezy. Each one took about 40 minutes. As others have mentioned, the seat cushion is pretty firm. They are deep cushions, but with a pillow from the sofa, it is perfect for an average height person. Overall these are nice chairs for the price. They seem comfortable — I haven’t spent a ton of time sitting in them yet, but my cats absolutely love lounging on them, so that’s a good sign . A couple things to note: the armrest placement feels a bit off — it’s not super comfortable to actually rest your arms on them. The style kind of reminds me of a doctor’s office waiting room, which isn’t bad but not exactly the vibe I expected. Assembly was mostly easy, but one frustrating part is that there are no pre-drilled screw holes on the bottom. You’re pretty much guessing where to screw the seat in, which was a little annoying. The chairs are beautiful and well made. The packaging box looks roughly handled. But the chairs are not damaged. They are obviously pretty strong. The bottoms of the chair legs have pads to protect the floor. The floor protectors are a little misaligned but they do not show when the chair is upright. Only negative I would say is that the back, which is not padded, is low and not very comfortable if you are sitting a little slumped. But it is fine if sitting up straight. They are well worth the sale price. But they are not so wonderful that they warrant the original price. I am in love with these chair! So much that I got the same style in high chairs as well. The pictures don’t do them justice—they look even better in person. Not only are these chairs aesthetically beautiful, but they’re also very comfortable to sit on. My back feels well supported by the curved backrest, which makes a big difference. The height is just perfect—you can comfortably rest your elbows on top of the backrest, which adds to the overall comfort.
