Got the brown color—it’s a bit darker in person, more like walnut, but I still like it. Feels sturdy and well made. Assembly took a few hours, mainly because I had to adjust the hinges to fix a large gap between the doors. The instructions explain how to adjust them, but not when it’s needed. This is a beautiful cabinet once assembled the only reason for the 4 star is that it took me twice as long to get the doors on correctly as it did to assemble the entire rest of the cabinet. They predrills for the doors are tiny and barely visible and you have to try and guess where they are while holding up the door and trying to screw it on. The door latch is scratching the wall of the cabinet while this whole process is taking place but thankfully the scratches are hidden under the latch once its on. Once the doors are finally on they have to be adjusted to be equal. Its a huge process just for doors but its possible and the cabinet is very sturdy and looks great once its done. Then after item shipped I looked at the item again because I was excited and the description had changed. It no longer said solid wood and a review popped up that hadnt been there saying it wasnt solid wood as they had expected so the description had been updated. I ended up keeping it because I needed something right away. Ive had them for some time now and still like it. It’s a decent cabinet and fits nicely where we needed it. Three disappointing issues we found 1. There is some sort of a mar on top. It is Not backing from a sticker- there was no sticker on it. It is more like dyed glue or the coating. See photo 2. Assembly went very well until the last step- putting the door on. Every screw needed had predrilled holes EXCEPT the door. We had quite a time getting it lined up. 3.the chemical smell is no joke, as many others have mentioned. We put it on the screened porch with the cabinet door open.
