It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. Great idea but to use it as animal tank, it would need some modifications. This arrived in 2 separate boxes both within a week of ordering but on separate days. It isn’t hard to put together, the directions are clear although some f the parts were missing their number sticker. The fire place looks niceand the drawer slides smoothly. However nice this idea is though, I do not think it is right for small pets. First off, there is no bottom pan, so all bedding would get pretty dirty and soak through the wooden bottom of the drawer. Hamsters will be able to escape through the open spaces on the sides of the drawer which has an open space below. Anything moist will soak into the wood and therefore I do not believe it is a great option for pets, unless you make modifications.
