There was no review yet for this item, but I decided to buy anyway because I needed an adjustable standing desk and already had a beautiful solid cherry wood top that I had bought at a local wood shop to go on it. WOW! This desk is strong, the metal is sleek and polished, the mechanism runs smoothly, it is very easy to put together, and the instructions are very clear with color pictures. I still have to see how long the lift mechanism will work. Controller is to be attached under the table with screws provided, as well as the electric wires with the cable clips provided to this effect. Excellent product! I bought many items from Wayfair in the past and have always been very pleased with the quality of the products! This time again. The desk came in earlier than expected. Shipping information was provided all along. I was able to put the desk up in no time even though the instructions were not that great. The desk is just what I wanted for my office. The crankshaft Works spectacularly and I am glad that I did not opt for an electric model has this one works perfectly. The desk is nice and deep and very solid. It does sit higher in the sitting position with the wheels on. If I were going to use it more for a sitting desk I would probably remove the wheels. I am glad I went with this desk instead of a more expensive one as the desk appears to be just a solid and just as good as the more expensive model. I would recommend this desk and would buy it again, and use Wayfair again to purchase the desk. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Update after having desk several years. Upgrading to an electric desk. This desk still works like the first day I received it I have moved and reassembled this desk about eight times.
