It is a bit smaller than I thought but I still think it’s quite clever looking. I do really like this carved and rustic deer head. My husband thought it was a Jack-a-lope. Kinda made love it even more. lol. It looks nothing like a Jack-lope but I have an affinity for that critter of my youth and of lore. He is not perfect he is just enough imperfect to make him quirky and fit in beautifully to my home. His nostrils and eyes are a bit off from one another. Gives him personality. He was easy to put together. The ears and rack fit in very snuggly in the slots provided so they do not move. If one wanted to they could use some wood glue and make the attachment more permanent.
