A throwback to one of Irvin's popular early designs, our store lamp includes the glass globe.

I was a little worried about getting these because they only had 1 Review…. But I got two for a Bunk Room I just designed at our lake house. The are ABSOLUTELY perfect! I love the nostalgic, gas lantern look to them. They were packaged incredibly well, a great size and sturdy … they are just adorable. I love that the metal plate over the light has tiny holes to let the light come though a little on the ceiling. In the picture on Wayfair the glass under the lantern looks white due to the white shiplap behind it … but it’s actually thick, clear glass. These are even better in person. I highly recommend these adorable lanterns And putting them on a Dimmer switch if you can. It’s so nice to be able to turn them up bright or really dim for a nice atmosphere. Nothing compares to the soft light and rustic charm of a kerosene lantern. There is a reason that this product endures; it works! Our lantern is durable and simple, with a large glass globe and a fully adjustable wick.

I tried Keosene with bad results. The flame would not maintain a constant level. I switched to lamp oil and it's run like a champ ever since. This is a nice lamp and a great addition to my home. It comes with a light bulb and the night light. I like that the lights can be on independent of one another. The shade is a nice linen and very easy to unfold and use. This light was ready and in place within 10 minutes.
