Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Quite the nice table. I got the unfinished so I could stain the color sine I can never tell if the color will be right when ordering online plus I wanted a dark base and a light top. The table is sturdy and well made. Look up the directions from this web site for the assembly of base to top. Gorgeous. High quality wood and chairs. Perfect size. Only bad thing is there is a hairline scratch on the table. I did drop it face down while still in the box. It is heavily padded with foam, not sure if that’s why there’s a hairline scratch or it was made during production and shipping. Other than that. I am very pleased with this new set. In the future I may diy the linen fabric on the chairs and paint them a different color. In the photos the table looks black. It’s not. I have bad lighting in my apartment.
