It’s safe to say the level of detail in the instruction manual is one of the best we have ever seen! And the organization of the parts was *chef’s kiss*. We put it together in just over 3 hours while also wrangling our young hyenas - I mean kids. We have built dressers and desks and tables and wayyy too many Hot Wheels tracks. They all prepared us for this experience. And this was far easier than we thought it would be. My husband was able to be the only one up on the ladder while I took the role of assistant and hyena wrangling. I purchased the 7" green metal posts to fence off some bushes from the deer. The posts are of a sturdy metal and well made. The soil I have has the consistency of sand and dirt, so the posts slide into the dirt easily. The posts come with an instruction booklet, nuts, bolts, metal hooks and zip ties. The quality of the aluminum is excellent, everything feels solid, and once it’s anchored to concrete, the structure is extremely sturdy. I installed the pergola and fixed shutter wall myself, and while it takes time and patience, the instructions were clear and all of the parts fit together well. The shutter wall adds a lot of privacy without making the space feel closed in, and it gives the pergola a clean, modern look. The charcoal finish looks even better in person than it does in the pictures, and the louvers operate smoothly.
