The instructions were ok except 1 bag of hardware was not labeled. The sofa took about 2 1/2 hours to put together. As long as you pay attention to the directions you shouldn't have a problem although a second set of hands would have helped. When cushions are on the sofa the seating is 18 inches , now I see why that is not listed. Low seats. The cushions are good quality and the frame seems well put together. make sure you leave all screws loose in order to tighten everything at the end. these pics are after putting together which is why so wrinkled.. We purchased two of the couches along with a rocker set and side table. They are fairly comfortable to sit and lay on. This set did have thinner cushions compared to other sets on the website, but they did say they are high density foam which seems to make a difference. I took off a star for the ease of assembly. The assembly was a bit of a pain. Do yourself and your sanity a favor and use a wratcheting screw driver (the correct allen bit was included with ours). This will save you time and frustration. The instructions were also a bit unclear and the QR code on the manual that was supposed to show an assembly video did not match up with the couch that was sold. It’s a very sturdy couch, short compared to a real couch, but as expected when reading the dimensions. I picked it because a lot of the reviews said that the cushions were firm and not soft and I wanted to ensure it lasted me the 3 years I’d be int rh little apartment I was in. I will say it IS more firm than I expected, almost 3 years and haven’t softened up any, but I prefer that over them flattening out and becoming thin and very uncomfortable.
