Extremely disappointed in the manufacturing quality of this table, especially given its close to $3,000 price point. While aesthetically pleasing, the structural integrity is fundamentally flawed. The table is held together by undersized screws that are inadequate for its significant weight. During a minor adjustment (moving it just a few inches), a leg literally split in half because the load wasn't properly supported at a key weak point. Furthermore, the center beam is purely decorative and offers zero structural reinforcement. This is a major safety concern; the table is prone to collapse under minimal lateral pressure, posing a risk to anyone nearby. To make the unit safe for use, we had to perform extensive manual reinforcements, including drilling new holes, doweling, and adding extra support boards. It looked good and was one of the more affordable options to fit the space we needed. Finish was ok, but a little weird. The legs in particular looked great. We ended up moving out of the space though and didn't want to deal with moving it so we sold at a discount to the new tenant.
