This is a really nice lamp. It is a lot bigger and taller than I thought it would be! The base is hollow making the lamp lightweight. The quality is great. It is sturdy and appears to be durable. Pretty little accent lamp for my desk and work area. I would say the color is more brass than gold. The shade is pretty with rattan features and the base is sturdy. I purchased these for the living room thinking. I was going to go more Polynesian in my second home when I got new furniture. That didn’t happen so I put them in the bedroom. They’re fine there but I will probably eventually change them out since they are not the best with this furniture either. They were a great price. They were packed well but did have a flaw on one side. It wasn’t bad enough to send back. I just turned it toward the wall. No biggie.
