This is a pretty nice medical cabinet. The door hinges are good and the wall hanging setup, with the bar that attached to the wall, made it pretty easy to mount. It did come flat packed but wasn't hard to put together. Keep in mind that it's a bit deeper than a most medicine cabinets and might go better over a toilet (where I put mine) instead of over the bathroom vanity itself-also the mirror is on the small side. Love this so much! Another reviewer had a great suggestion to take the doors off before installing. It’s not as heavy to mount then. Also that protects the mirrors from damage while mounting the base. The cabinet sits on a long bracket installed first. Be sure you catch a stud with the screws. The backing is like a pegboard material but very solid. The frame is metal, feels like aluminum. So it will not rust. The door hinges have a lovely soft closing feature. No more slamming cabinet doors!! The cabinet is a tiny bit shorter than my previous mirror, but the really nice two sided mirrors, glass shelves that pop into the shelf brackets (had to figure thst out), and the very classy backing make up for a slightly smaller cabinet. He was able to fully recess the first one into the wall. But, due to a surprise construction element inside the wall on the other side, he was only able to sink the cabinet about an inch into the wall. This was NOT an issue with the cabinet. Our house was built in the early 1980's, and apparently the builders were oblivious to the fact that a future homeowner just might want to put a recessed medicine cabinet in that spot over the vanity sink. These shelves helped tremendously in a small home with little storage space. After reading the supplied instructions and making a cardboard template tracing, the install went seamlessly!! The drywall cut is vey messy so be prepared and cover your belongings from the dust. We only were able to use screws on one side due to the other side being a metal stud, but it was no problem and the units are solid!! No knobs supplied or needed.
