We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. Such a cute little cabinet. I love that it’s all put together already when I received it. The color looks just like the stock photos. The drawer slides in and out just fine. Doors are aligned and open and close as they should. Feels solid and nice quality. Great cabinets for the price. I changed the knobs to go with my decor. The reason for a four start vs five star is because when I first purchased the cabinets the description said solid wood. Then after item shipped I looked at the item again because I was excited and the description had changed. It no longer said solid wood and a review popped up that hadnt been there saying it wasnt solid wood as they had expected so the description had been updated. I ended up keeping it because I needed something right away. Ive had them for some time now and still like it.
