I ordered this bed in the "Duck Gray" and was surprised to see it was a much lighter grey than the photo online. It's still a nice gray, but more of a light grey than a mid tone gray. Also the fabric looks more like a canvas linen than a true linen. The headboard fabric is not sewn directly onto the headboard, it is a slipcover that you slide over the headboard. At first I was annoyed but then I thought - well at least I can get it dry cleaned when it gets dirty - so it works out well. The bed took about an hour and a half to put together (with 2 people) but it's made well so it's very sturdy and was easy to assemble. It does have a sort of chemical smell to it, but I imagine that will go away with time. It also arrived 10 days sooner than originally anticipated which was a huge plus. These silk velvet pillows are fabulous! The color, the texture and the feel are pure luxury. They are great with my eclectic, global, safari themed beach condo. They were packaged well and the down insert is one of the best I've seen. The cover is down proof so there won't be feathers poking out. These pillows are not cheap but the fact that they are silk velvet and come with a higher end down pillow insert, I think they are a great value. The tiger stripe pillow is a Canvello pillow as well.
