The bed frame fits perfectly around my adjustable bed bases ( we have a split king) - I measured before I purchased. This bed makes me feel like a Queen in the Palace lol. I ordered a King size and it makes my bedroom look very elegant. The wingback tall headboard is beautiful and royal. The velvet feels very soft and luxurious and the material is made easy to clean. This bed doesn’t require a box spring However, if you’re not looking for a low profile look with the mattress then a box spring is needed. This bed is super easy to set up and is very strong and durable. I really love that this bed was not tufted velvet like the others but pleated velvet instead.
