This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. This is a heavy SOLID piece, looks higher quality when assembled took me about 2.5 hours but I move slow. Assembly is not my favorite as I did it solo— it’s doable and you have to not rush and read the directions. I had worse assembly with Wayfair products. Shipment was fine but I needed a dolly to move into my garage due to the weight of the box. Opened it in the garage and move the individual pieces upstairs a few at a time. The drawers are smaller but meet my needs in a spare room. The review that have issues may not have completed all the steps and used all the screws. I’d buy this again if I needed a second one. My initial experience started well. It was a little nerve-wracking because it was a large purchase and we couldn't feel, touch, or look at it in person. The reviews were good and bad, but we made the sale, placing our faith in Wayfair. The set is gorgeous, the quality is excellent, and the wow factor is there. The problem was getting scheduled and rescheduled for delivery 5x before we finally received all the items in our order. We were told by the final delivery driver, a true angel on earth, that our delivery should’ve been flagged as needing more than 2 people to deliver the product because of its size and weight.
