Each pendant comes in 2 boxes, 1 small box for the cord and a bigger box for the shade. So, 2 pendants = 4 boxes, and both pendants (4 boxes) arrived together in one large box. 40 minutes (!) chatting with Customer Service, who could not understand tI wanted ONE label for the one big, original box containing 2 pendants packed in 4 smaller boxes, until I uploaded photos. It looks exactly as pictured, and the quality seems pretty good. The shade has gold tinting on the inside and it isn't super thin. The black finish on the outside is consistent and smooth. I like the brass colored details, but I do tink they're a little bit too bright of a yellow to look realistic. My biggest complaint is the wire. I know that this is intended to be hung with some of the long extension poles so the cable has to be long to accommodate, but if you want to use a shorter length of hanging rod you're going to have to cut and strip the cable to a better length.
