First one took longer (learning curve). 4th one took 23 minutes from careful unpacking to putting the felt pads on the bottom of the legs. I lost 2 minutes due to trying to get the paper off the sticky pads . I like that there are small indentations in case you want to put the screw in type later. Overall. The leg did have a skin in it that I covered with a furniture marker. 3 of 4 chairs needed adjusting, but they make that simple to do with the feet of the stool. I love these stools. When we were remodeling our kitchen we designed an island with hidden seating and I wanted a counter stool with a low back that could slide completely under the island. I found these and they are so lovely in person. The leather and gold is pretty and the leather has a weathered look which I like because my kids eat at the counter and get them messy. Every now and then, something is actually even better than pictured. These stools are so beautiful and well made, I’m convinced I’ll never need to replace them. I’ve had fake leather that doesn’t last a year, cloth stools that look filthy after kids eating and spilling all over them and many different stools that simply fall apart.
