It works, but you have to be intentional about how you mount it. All three joints move in a single direction, so don’t assume you will have the ability to change the direction later on. Exactly what I needed for the reading corner. Comes with the ability to hardwire instead of plug in, but in our case we preferred the plug in to avoid calling an electrician.
