I wanted a neutral but beautiful piece to replace the large area rug and to make our living room look larger. This rug definitely fit the bill. It’s beautifully woven and so reasonably priced. Also, because it’s got no shag at all, I expect it will be much easier to keep clean (I have a similar rug elsewhere in the apartment). It’s not cushy underfoot like a typical rug, but I actually like the feel of it. Plus, the combination of blues with the natural-colored jute is striking without being distracting.
