This table is exactly what I was looking for because it can extend to fit 8 chairs and contract to fit 4-6 chairs. The narrow oblong shape provides more space to maneuver around the chairs on my deck than a wider rectangular or square table. The position of the table legs makes it possible to squeeze a couple more chairs around the table than most other table options. The chairs are solid and narrow enough, even with armrests to fit the table. They are the correct height when one adds seat cushions that are 3.5"-5" in height and the low profile of the chairs means that at least 4 of them can be pushed all the way under the table.. Kendra. These chairs look really good, and have this mcm feel, exactly what I was looking for. I will say that they were a big tricky to build, the bolts didn’t align well. The table set is beautiful. It doesn’t have all the color variations that I thought it would but the dark brown works in our space. We have a pretty small lanai under roof so I am very happy I did the oval table versus a rectangle one. The only thing I wish were better were the chairs, as they’re a bit on the small side. When looking at the width measurement note that includes the arms coming down. Won’t be chairs we spend hours in but they’re definitely pretty and functional especially in a small area.. Becky. Colors are exactly as pictured and it looks high end. I love that it comes assembled. The only issue is the foam at the top, it feels so cheap. Just got this table together and thus far very happy with it. We live in a smaller house and don’t have space for a huge table but found ourselves frustrated with the size of what we had, but not wanting a table with an enlarging panel that we need to store (again, small house). This has solved that problem perfectly, I love that you can stow the extension inside the table. Also great that the base is situated so it won’t conflict with chairs on any side. It was also relatively easy to put together and the mechanics of the sliding pieces are very clever and make it easy to adjust if you’re alone. All that said, deducting one star because the wood grains don’t align in the extension piece. Not a deal breaker for us but something to be aware of, it won’t look seamless.. Amy. Santa Clarita, CA.
