This table is exactly what I was looking for because it can extend to fit 8 chairs and contract to fit 4-6 chairs. The narrow oblong shape provides more space to maneuver around the chairs on my deck than a wider rectangular or square table. The position of the table legs makes it possible to squeeze a couple more chairs around the table than most other table options. The chairs are solid and narrow enough, even with armrests to fit the table.
