First of all— the color is beautiful! If you’re looking for an earthy green, look no further! I love that it’s truly modular and really versatile for your space. I’m hoping the ottoman comes back in stock to really complete the look for us. It’s fairly easy to put together—however, with the corner pieces I really recommend putting one side piece onto the bottom piece and then putting the other side piece on. It was impossible for us to put both side pieces on and then the bottom piece— it just didn’t align with all 4 slide pieces. Once we did it the other way they were easy to put together. Also, the instructions don’t say how to unhook the alligator connectors once you put them together so we had to Google that— you lift up on the side that has the post to dislodge it from the alligator piece. The couch is firm but still comfy (exactly what we were looking for). The couch is low but again, that’s what I was wanting. I’m 5’6” and I can sit with my feet touching the ground and my back on the couch— if you’re looking for a deeper seat then this might not work. Also, cat approved! The depth of the seats works very well for me, though the couch might be a bit firm for some people. Assembly was okay except that the legs took a while to put on. This couch is nice. It’s very sturdy and comfortable. As usual with these things, it was a pain in the neck to put together. The worst part was getting it up the stairs because the boxes are so heavy. The heaviest box is 150 lbs! Then you need to unbox everything and put the covers on all of the cushions. After that it’s pretty simple except that the metal pieces that clamp it together are too tight. Do yourself a favor and use a flat head screwdriver to slightly bend the pieces at the back side. It will be much easier! We have one more piece that needs to go on the end, but we need to get rid of our old couch first. Overall, once it’s put together it’s sturdy and very comfortable. I couldn’t find a better picture, but I really loved this couch. It was easy to clean and held up well since my initial purchase in 2023. I also loved that the decorative pillows came with it because they matched the couch perfectly and made it look really nice in my living room. The only reason I’m getting rid of it now is because my cats unfortunately tore up the sides despite my attempts to protect it. Lesson learned — I also wish I had purchased the insurance. One thing to note is that liquids can seep through the fabric. When my cat had an accident, some of it went through even though I cleaned it quickly. Also, removing the cushion covers from the back of the pillows can be a bit difficult. Overall, I really did enjoy this couch and would buy it again if I didn’t have cats.
