This table is exactly what I was looking for because it can extend to fit 8 chairs and contract to fit 4-6 chairs. The narrow oblong shape provides more space to maneuver around the chairs on my deck than a wider rectangular or square table. The position of the table legs makes it possible to squeeze a couple more chairs around the table than most other table options. The chairs are solid and narrow enough, even with armrests to fit the table. They are the correct height when one adds seat cushions that are 3.5"-5" in height and the low profile of the chairs means that at least 4 of them can be pushed all the way under the table.. Kendra. We like the look of this table on our deck. The 54” added 6” to our previous seating capacity which we wanted without having to change the existing rug. The 4 rating is due to an obvious seam where the top halves meet; something I was wary of prior to buying. It took 45 minutes for my husband and me to put it together. Overall very pretty and sturdy. I am grateful I hired the delivery people to put it together. The cement top is very heavy. I had a concern with one top bolt not same amount tightened but all seems to be secure. I like that there is a cover for the umbrella opening. And perhaps it’s my uneven patio causing the issue. The only other item that was different is the color of the top is a lot darker than what was shown in the pictures. Very dark gray. It works but preference was the lighter gray as shown. Beautiful, well-designed, assembly went smoothly. As stated in the description, the table is light and sturdy at the same time. Measurements: 89.5" unextended; 1 leaf = 110"; 2 leaves = 130.5". Leaves store in the table, whether you're using 1 or 2. The bottom of the apron is 26.5" from the ground.
