The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Overall I would say this bed frame is a good purchase; High quality solid wood construction, sturdy hardware , and the honey finish is beautiful. That said it’s worth noting that the size of the bed frame in the listing is not accurate. We bought this frame specifically to fit a twin bed sized small niche that is set into the wall of my son’s bedroom. According to the listing this bed should have fit perfectly. It is actually almost an inch wider than the specifications say measuring just over 77 inches wide . This detail might not be a challenge for most buyers but I feel like it should be changed in the listing for accuracy. Also , it’s worth noting that the finish is not incredibly durable and does scratch easily. In the building process the drawers got a few scratches just from being face down on our hardwood flooring . Not a deal breaker but be careful when building to protect the finish.. Laura. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. The bed is great! The only thing that was frustrating was that it was advertised as the lowest price and had a 24 hour window to get the offer so I took it. I found out two days later that the Bed went on sale for a lower price and when I contacted customer service, they were unwilling to match that price or even let me return the bed and get my money back and then order the Bed at the lower price. Super heavy to set up but makes all parts are sturdy. Padding on headboard is comfortable. There are little foam cushions adhered to the top of the headboard instead of the bottom.
