The clock face is beautiful. Derated 1 star because the back mounting bar was not square with the clock vertical (manufacturer issue, not Wayfair). After hanging with 2 screw mounts that were level, the clock was not. Easy enough to solve, but had to raise the right side mount about 1 inch to get the clock level (ie, the wall mounts were not level ). The clock is quite handsome, and the overall appearance is better than expected. The color is exactly what I was looking for. The brown is very rich with just a hint of red. Dark but not espresso. A little light and it really brings out the character and color. The clock isn’t real wood but it isn’t plastic, which you get on some (often cheaper) clocks. The engineered wood does keep it lightweight, however. My one complaint is to get the clock and chime working is hair-pulling. I followed the directions to a T and the problem is the little hand keeps falling down to around the 6 o’clock mark when you try to set the time. I ended up getting it to work but without the chime..
