IT’S ABOUT TIME … AND PATIENCE: This clock is classic and beautiful with a gold rim around its face, gold numbers, gold scrollwork, black ornamentals, and spindly hands. Another reviewer stated the cover over the face is plastic instead of glass and that the "wood" is really pressed cardboard hiding beneath a thinly veiled veneer. I think he was right about the cover - it does feel like plastic instead of glass. The wood feels like wood to me. I hope it is since the clock is described as being made of wood. The chime melodies are all beautiful and a joy to hear … except at night when I want to sleep. Fortunately, the volume can be lowered or the chimes can be turned off between 11 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. or turned off altogether. I would like to keep the back cover on all the time but it’s a bit of a pain to put on after removing it to switch chimes on or off. It’s important to READ THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE attempting to install batteries and set the time. And it takes patience to get the chimes to sound on the hour. I used my smartwatch with a second hand to set the time so that it would chime at the right time. It’s not perfect but it’s as close as my patience allows. Like most everything else, the clock is made in China. It’s sad that it’s not made in the United States. At just over $200, I feel like I’m paying good money for something lacking the quality of past years (plastic cover and the possibility of veneer instead of real wood). So only four stars for not being made in the United States and possibly cheaper materials.. Pixie. Florida. Mon Jul 13 2026

This inspirational song clock can hang on wall, or sit on tabletop with included removable stand. Size is 8in diameter. Frame looks just like metal; it is actually a light and durable plastic with silver tone finish. Behind glass, the clock face features a waterfall scene with: Trust in the Lord from Proverbs 3:5. Love it! Always wanted a moving gear clock. Love the stand to set on my mantel. Just don't love that the wood is a fake laminate and not real. Rachel. Great Falls, MT. Sun Jan 14 2024

Day on the left, date on the right, analog clock in between, all finished in brass accents and a retro case that feels borrowed from your favorite decade. It keeps you informed and adds a relaxing piece to your daily ritual (and an early sense of accomplishment)—no screen required.
