I have it mounted to the wall but it’s super sturdy and wide based if you didn’t. This is a great neutral wood finish that would be perfect for either gender. A little wobbly, but best changing table I could find that wasn’t horrendous looking. I have in my living room. You can keep it after you’re done using it as a changing table, shelves are very deep, so I’ll probably sell it and use a regular bookshelf instead.
