For the price it is worth it. The assembly was a little difficult with getting the screws to go for the second and third shelf, while trying to hold the pieces in place to line up the holes. The holes are very tight fitting, so a couple of screws almost didn't go in. I was on the floor using my all my limbs to do get this thing together. I had a ratchet allen wrench to do this assembly, if not, it wouldn't have worked out. I can understand why some people gave up. Forget trying to use the allen wrench that comes with it. It's very sturdy once together. There were two tiny chips off of the paint on one piece, but I can fix that. Overall, it works perfectly for displaying my pottery, so I like it.. Lucia. This is a beautiful piece. The finish on the metal is very high end, not brassy gold, but just a beautiful aged/darker finish. It's light weight and would've been very easy to put together if the following were added to the instructions: 1. take the 2 glass pieces away and put them aside until you're finished assembling (yes, sounds like common sense, but this think is packed with the glass pieces already inserted into the frames. 2. Do NOT completely tighten the bolts holding on the top until after you have also attached the shelf piece. If you attach AND tighten the top, it'll be tough to squeeeze the shelf into place. It really wasn't so hard, but less than stellar instructions are my pet peave. Also, I seem to be missing one of those tiny rubbery bubbles that cushions the glass in the corner. I will message the company about that, and I'm sure it won't be an issue. All in all, this is a FANTASTIC price on this item.
