This bed looks beautiful and is solid as a rock. Everytime I walk in the room I get so happy that I purchased this. It definitely a little darker than some of the pictures on the website and less of a red tone than I expected but I actually like it better. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. After the assembly, the height of the headboard is 72 inches as indicated, however, the length of the bed was 3 inches shorter and the width of the bed was 4 inches shorter than the dimension that is mentioned in the product specification for king size bed.. With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A..
