These metal shelves are fantastic, they are strong and being metal they don't start to sag like plastic or wood shelves. They are super easy and fast to assemble and this shelf in particular has double markings at certain intervals to make it easy to place the clips for even shelves, usually you have to count lines to make sure you get the plastic brackets in the right place but the double lines made it so easy. So far this is exactly what I wanted and exactly as depicted. It did seem a bit light almost flimsy when putting it together and I wondered if it would be able to support the weight of my microwave. But it works perfectly. The weight of the microwave seems to stabilize it. This will work for smaller microwaves or lighter things -- if it extends beyond the middle range I can see it becoming less stable and possibly buckling. But for smaller appliances it is perfect..
