They're okay for now, but if they lose sturdiness with use, I shall be a very unhappy customer, which I am anyway because the service that was supposed to come and set them up cancelled on me four times and finally said they wouldn't do the job. I found someone else to do it, but the boxes sat on my front porch in the rain for six days before I found help, and I wasn't able to bring the boxes in myself. They were very heavy. Very happy with these- I was replacing some adjustable height stools (one had quit being adjustable) and wanted swivel but without adjustable feature. I liked the look of these and seat height was exactly where the adjustable ones usually “lived”. They feel very sturdy and the seat is ample width and thick firm padding. They are lower profile too so don’t block sight line of counter (upper back sits right at counter level). I think it will be a good height for grandkids too.
