I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Very happy with this desk—it was a great purchase. The wood finish looks beautiful in person and gives a warm, high-quality feel that makes my workspace look much more put together. It’s very spacious, which is perfect for my setup with dual monitors and other essentials. I also really liked the L-shape design and the drawers; it gives me plenty of room to work while keeping everything within reach. Assembly was a bit challenging but I found an assembly YouTube video which helped a lot and made things much clearer. I was able to assemble it completely on my own. Perfect size! We'd been searching for an L shaped desk with the option to sit/stand for a long while. This one had a couple extra options that we weren't expecting which tipped the scales it's way. The only issue we have with it is the two pieces of the desk are not attached to one another at all. So if your desk is on a smooth surface they'll slide apart easily.
