Really like this lamp although I must admit the description of the shade being “white” and the photos making it look more “yellowish” were both incorrect. I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I wanted bedside lamps that were high enought to give off enough light to read by as I read every night. There is a shorter version but I tried out another lamp I had the same size and found it was not tall enough to read by. I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading.
