This is a very sturdy and attractive crib. When I opened the box, all the hardware had come loose from its container. It was very hard to find all the little screws and washers that had fallen to the bottom and were wedged under the cardboard. There was styrofoam EVERYWHERE by the time I was done searching. Do yourself a favor and Google the instructions on a tablet so you can enlarge them. They are attached to the mattress board which makes them hard to access and read. You really should have 2 people working on putting this together so one person can help hold it in place while the other screws in the bolts. Thankfully all the holes lined up properly. It seems like it might be a hassle to keep switching it from a crib to a playpen. The listing said there was no mattress, but there was a very thin one which I replaced.. Anna. Franklin Lakes, NJ. I bought the black mini crib. I was not planning on getting a mini crib since I had a bassinet but the baby is almost rolling and wanted something sturdier to keep in our room. Its beautiful and the wheels glide smoothly. The mattress that comes with it is very thin but I believe it is a safety regulation on the size. I just bought a thicker one and it was perfect. This crib is the perfect size for my space. I ordered it in natural. If I had to do it again after seeing natural in person I probably would have ordered cherry or espresso. The natural has multiple color variations. It's too late for me to return it. It was pretty easy to assemble. The directions indicate that a screw driver is needed, however everything needed to assemble is included in the package. On the website it says the mattress is not included, however this is one.
