I love my mount it. I placed it behind my tv unit that I am building and I can connect my tv and have all the cables out of sight. My original plug was way out of the way. I would have given it 5 stars but my package came without the template and no instructions of measurements. So it took me a lot to f cutting to make it a perfect fit. Love these! Wanted to jazz up my wall, a bit. It all started, when I decided I wanted to cover up the wallpaper seams that started looking more prominent. Went with the Walnut color, and they were beautiful out of the box, so I didnt want to paint or stain over them. Have a few left, so I might try and get a little more creative with some going in another direction. Havent gotten that far yet. They were super easy to cut, with a Japanese saw, and I opted to just use a brad nailer, without glue, if in the future I decide to change it up. I can hopefully pry them off easily.. Jennifer N.. I am very pleased with these wall panels. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so long, and thin enough to perhaps be damaged in shipping. But every piece was in perfect condition. I bought the alder, which was easy for me to cut with a Japanese style hand saw. Another reviewer mentioned the black charring on the sides, and yes that was a pain because it got all over my hands and on the wall as I was leaning the boards up to visualize. I washed it off as best as I could, then primed and painted. Seems as though the black edging would be a problem if I was just staining or keeping natural. Painting has worked for me though, as did construction adhesive with no nailing required. These wall panels have really jazzed up my entryway and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.. Karen. We chose to screw these into the wall because small holes are easier to fix than tape damage if we choose to remove these someday.
