The veneer work reminds me of Lane, the ease of assembly reminds me of La-Z-Boy, and the solid construction reminds me of Hooker. So we basically got the best attributes we were looking for. Love this table! Perfect size and color. The only thing I would advise is to hold the bottom shelf exactly where it will be when fully assembled. I had the shelf up too far and scratched the legs when I tried to slide it down to the pegs. I had to loosen the legs and redo it. And I got to use my new furniture markers to fix the boo boo..
