My cat and I absolutely love this box! He is a 15 lbs boy so he needs his box to be large, especially because he's a "long" kitty rather than a chubby one. This one now is his favorite box and I think the reason is because it's open-top. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to see his business while walking past it, and that it would be so stinky because it's open. But after a month of testing it, it actually isn't bad at all. The stainless steel doesn't trap oders almost at all! Once I clean his mess, it's completely gone. No scratched floor, no plastic that holds on to any stinky smell, and it doesn't stain at all. Cleaning it is a breeze and nothing sticks to the bottom that requires scraping. Also I was worried that urine would leak out from the area where the top half connects with the base bin, but so far no issues. Unless your kitty sprays too high, I’m thinking this should work perfectly. It comes with its own scoop that can be hung to the side wall of the box as shown in the picture (although it isn't my preferred scooper as I like metal ones better). Super happy with this. Was using one of those litter boxes that look like a pot with a plant in it. Plastic got scratched and it started holding on to odors and dirt. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flexi Cat litter box has a very sleek design. The size works well for my 2 cats that are right around 1 year old. It is an open air design so it doesn't do much to contain smells but it does clean super easy! Nothing sticks to the sides and the handles make dumping it out super convenient. It seems to be pretty sturdy and the handles are solid as they are part of the design. The biggest flaw is that my cats like to dig and they flung cat litter everywhere out of the contoured entrance to the litter box. It has an easy walk in design but that also makes it so the litter launches out if the cat digs just right. The open top design does make it super easy to clean out when scooping as well. This is a great litter pan. It’s very sturdy and waste material scoops out very easily. My only problem is that I bought it to fit inside the Mize litter box enclosure and checked the measurements carefully. The pan would have fit perfectly; however, there is a lip around the edge that made it just a smidge too large and the litter box enclosure would not close. Really nice litter box, easy on off top, should be super easy to clean, and should eliminate the kicking of litter out of pan. Recommend. I like the cut out paws on plastic part at entrance/exit and I added a litter catch mat at front and will add another one to entrance of closet where I have litter box hidden away.... Jamie.
