Just put it together today (by myself, mind you!), so I can’t speak to the quality long term, but it’s perfect for what I need right now. Took me an about 2 hours to put together - lining up the heavy top was a little bit of a struggle, but i got it after a few adjustments. It’s heavier duty partial board, but the coating on it seems like it’ll hold up well. This table is wonderful. It does not look cheap or prefab, easy to put together, light yet sturdy, and I love the colors. I got the pecan, which looks much darker than it does in the photos. I knew this from reviews so was happy when I received it. As also reviewed and in the product description, the top is indeed an off white, like an eggshell color. This works well as the contrast is less stark and medical-looking than if it was pure white. My only criticism, also echoed in reviews, is the top is easy to both mark up and dent. I’ve only had it a few weeks and already has both and I haven’t exactly been abusing it, and I live alone. The marks are quite minimal so I don’t mind but I do wish it were a little more resilient. I left the towel rack off and eventually took the side shelf off, because my room is small and honestly I think it looks better. When the leaf is open, it created more counter top than I thought it would. The back is plain and could use some adhesive drawer/shelf liner, which I might do later. Beautiful stone top coffee table. Shipping was fast, very well packaged, and there was no damage to the table. Assembly was very easy and took about 30 minutes. I’m using this table for my outdoor patio set. It has a good weight to it as we’ve had some high winds lately and this table did not budge. Neighbors have complimented the table and it looks wonderful! I’m getting new patio furniture and I can’t wait to set everything up for the season. Update I ordered the black stone table as I thought it would complement my new patio set better and also have a better contrast against the light colored rug. I absolutely love this table! I decided to stay with this style to keep the overall feeling of the area light and open versus a waterfall shaped table or solid cement table. I also appreciate having extra outlets as I now can use the upper (top) shelf as a buffet (complete with a heating unit because of the outlets) when I entertain. - First impression once assembled, looks just like the model online. However, the wood top had 2 damaged areas 1 a scratchgouge, another that had a stain that someone tried to color in and varnish over. We had put so much work that when we noticed it, we were an hour in and didnt want to have to wait for a new one. - Assembly with two people, it took about 2 12 hours to assemble. It was a pretty simple process, but they were just a lot of pieces. There were two times that the instructions were unclear in terms of the direction certain pieces had to go in, and in other areas it seemed like the steps could have been done in a better way. But overall it was simple but tedious. Instructions would earn a 94 out of 100. Finished we are very happy with the entries result. It goes really well with our other furniture and the sage green color is really pretty. I like the extra space with the flip top wood on top, but part of me wishes that the extra piece was on the other side. Also, since we use this for a space between our kitchen and dining room, the paper towel holder seems a little out of place. If it was just for the kitchen it would make sense. But thats a personal preference. The drawers are nice and deep, and the shelves are movable so that you can adjust them to various heights if your needs change. Overall we are very happy and glad that we saved the assembly fee. The reasons for not giving a five star two gouges on the wood top, and a few areas of the instructions had to be figured out.
