Let me tell you, though it only has 3 blades, the Ample Ceiling Fan puts out a lot of cool air. I installed this ceiling fan in my livingroom where it tends to get hot during the summer. This ceiling fan has helped with cooling the atmosphere. Installing was easy and the instructions that Kichler provided were easy to read. We purchased two of these fans for our house. One is located over 20 ft in the air. The description stated the fan is reversible from the wall switch or remote. After the electricians installed these fans we found out this was not true. The only way to reverse the fan is at the motor and even with a four ft down rod it is 19 ft in the air.
