Kichler 8112Ozledr Flush Mount Light

I needed 2 replacement flush mount lights for a long hallway. The original flush mount lights (installed when I built my house 1996) were approx 1 inch smaller diameter and were a square shape though had similar finish of dark bronze and smoky cover. Before I purchased these I had removed 1 of the lights and noticed there was a residue mark in the ceiling so knew I wanted a larger diameter to cover that old spot (as I didn't want to repaint the whole ceiling). This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult.
