Easy to assemble and overall satisfied with the island. Took away a star because one of the side panels was broken when removing it from the box I had to glue it and wait for the glue to dry before assembling. Amazing kitchen island! True quality for a great price. This was rather easy to put together because a simple piece of good quality. All that’s needed is a drill and vice grips, and the screws are provided. The instructions are simple, because the construction requires little except for drilling screws in. The trickier part is getting the shelves in, because they are to be done last. They have to aligned properly so you don’t have a lopsided island, but once you fit the shelf into the tight squeeze of the legs it’s hard to visualize the exact spot of the pre drilled hole in the leg. I tried widening the opening with my drill and dabbing it with yellow chalk, but it’s still hard to see through the pre drilled hole in the shelf.
