I bought it for my bedroom. It’s bigger than I thought. Yes, I know the measurements were included but it only looks big when laying under it. From my doorway it seems like a normal size. On high, it’s amazing, it does have a slight swing and “tick” when on high but it’s minimal. Super quiet. Can’t believe I waited so long to replace my old one. I like that the smaller drum can easily be unscrewed to clean it from dust. I bought the shortest rod length because I wanted it close to the ceiling. Came with light bulbs as well which I thought I read they weren’t included. Have the option for remote or wall switch. I added the remote but might remove as my wall switch won’t work with remote. I would give these fans a 5 if not for the one thing that I’m fairly disappointed in. I bought one, loved it so much I bought a second fan and that’s where I’m having my difficulties. I’ll explain, I use Apple HomeKit in house I have about 30 devices all controlled with Siri. My first fan was easy to install has a great fit and finish, looks great works great with Siri with no complaints. So I ordered a second fan, went together fantastically also looks great, but integrating it into my Smart Home not so good. It will not let me add the second fan, it actually says your fan is already installed which it’s not. After Googling the issue it’s a know problem. I just wasn’t aware of this issue until after I purchased and installed the second fan. So I’m relegated to only using the remote control for that 2nd fan. It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. This is a beautiful ceiling fan. I'm very happy with it. I had professional help installing it. He reports it was challenging to install due to some complicated engineering choices made by the manufacturer, but made it work. My camera isn't capturing the true beauty of the stained glass when lit but the predominant color is violet. Because of the stained glass, the light is muted but since this is being used in a bedroom, that's what I wanted. I searched for the internet for several fans this color and size. I finally landed on this Hunter one. I loved everything about it. My husband installed it without any trouble. We absolutely love it. The light is the perfect color, not too yellow and not too white-like most LED lights can be. The only downside would be the remote. It only has up and down arrows and the remote does not have a holder for the wall. We tend to loose remotes easily in our household so that is a negative point for us. It will not let me add the second fan, it actually says your fan is already installed which it’s not. After Googling the issue it’s a know problem. I just wasn’t aware of this issue until after I purchased and installed the second fan. So I’m relegated to only using the remote control for that 2nd fan. This fan light is a work of art, beautifully crafted of strong materials and exquisite glass panels. The pine cones (not so visible here) and straw are wonderfully wrought, and it's a first-class execution in every way. Installation was easy for our guy who helps us with this sort of thing, and it is a perfect addition to our fireplace family room. Pricey, yes, but with this quality and creativity, one doesn't mind. I have one observation for Meyda: if there's plenty of ambient light (daylight or a light fan/ceiling), the sculptural elements are readily visible. In our case, the fan is dark, in the same tone exactly as the light kit, and the ceiling is also on the dark side, so we are looking for a way to light the cones and straw.
