I love this table because it is a little more narrow than the standard dining table, and I love the fact that you can add or take away the leaf that is included! The reviews on this table are all over the place, so I wanted to share my honest experience. Quality 1010. This table is solid wood, very sturdy, and surprisingly heavy. It feels well-made and substantial. Packaging 1010. It arrived extremely well protected with no damage. Assembly 1010. Assembly couldn’t have been easier—you just attach the legs. As for the appearance, this is where I’m a little torn. I don’t love the finish. Instead of looking naturally rustic, it has more of a whitewashed, chalky look, and the wood has a slight pink undertone. In my opinion, the finish cheapens what is otherwise a beautiful table. Ironically, I actually prefer the look of the unfinished underside. That said, the table has definitely grown on me. I think it pairs beautifully with white upholstered dining chairs, and the overall shape is timeless and elegant. I also chose the 84-inch size after reading reviews that the smaller version looked a bit undersized compared to the chunky pedestal legs, and I’m really glad I sized up. After a month of waiting, the delivery truck only had the base. We filed the requisite notice with Wayfair, they responded and said they couldn't only order the table top, but they had to order the whole table again. Another month later the delivery truck shows up...with only the base again. The manufacturer claims that the base was ordered twice rather than the table top.
