First, I want to say that I bought this product as an open box item. tThe product arrived quickly & was in good condition. The opening is really wide, but I was hoping the top would hang over just a bit more though. The shape & design is cute, really like the ears. :) The kittens like the little hanging ball which they play with a lot. The material is soft & squishy, but cat bed is very lightweight, so it falls over & moves around a lot. I think I may have to out something that’s comfortable but weighted, so at least it doesn’t shift around too much. This kitty house snapped together in about 20 minutes. The pieces fit together nice and tight. It’s made of rigid composite plastic. The top and sides do flex a little under pressure.
