I got the black seat with the gold stitched accent and the gold frame and they are gorgeous for our kitchen. They are stable and you do not have to worry about them holding up overtime as I feel they are very good quality. And I love all the options they offer for colors. I purchased a less expensive version, fully expecting to have to replace when the kids are older. Edit 2/13/2026. We've now had these just under 6 years. While I started my first review with an expectation of these being absolutely trashed in a couple years, I am thrilled to report that I was wrong. They're holding up great to a now 8 and 4 year olds daily meals. The kids also like to use these stools as stepladders to get cereal, bread, etc out of the upper cabinets. These barstools really Uplevel my kitchen. They did exactly what I was hoping to do, which was take a black-and-white Kitchen and add a cozy element by bringing in some war tones. I love that the leather is waivable. I’ve already had to wipe them down several times no issues and what a treat over my last barstools which had to be scrubbed. These are VERY kid friendly.
