WARNING: This cross-bar may need to be adjusted for full operation (best before you put the rest of the table together). I had to disconnect the top from the base 3 times to get it right. Default from the factory and the table may not close unless one holds down the side-skirting on the leaf. That sucks. Too far one direction and the table closes, but the leaf will not pivot out. Too far the other direction and the leaf pivots freely, but the table will not close without holding down the side-skirting on the leaf in it's folded position. There's a "sweet spot" such that both operations will work seamlessly. I had to relocate mine about 1/4" inch. It's best if you have a cordless drill and a partner to help. We love that it comes with a removable leaf; installing it means the table extends to seat up to seven people. It's complete with the dining chairs of your choice (sold separately).

Table arrived two weeks later than scheduled date. Based on tracking I could see that it was delivered to a warehouse just 40 minutes away, but it sat there for two weeks going nowhere. I called once to bring it to their attention, they said they would get it scheduled, but never did. I had to call a second time. So frustrating. There is a black mark on the side of the leaf that won’t rub off. Table is much more yellow than it appeared in on line. If you click to enlarge and observe the sideboard in the background, I was hoping it would be closer to that. My pictures don’t even show just how yellow it is in person.
